Did You Know...? Templates and Infoboxes Templates are customizable pieces of complex wiki & html code used to make displaying information in other pages easier and with less clutter. In this way we keep the page itself simple so when we edit it in the future, we don't have to scroll past tons of script just to make a simple change. Take this Main_Page for example. It uses no less than 9 different templates. 5 display templates, and ~4 meta-templates that are templates used by other templates to make repetitious activities simpler and easier. An example of a meta-template is the template which is providing the boarder, padding and color/look of this infobox and the "In the News" infobox to the right. Infoboxes are templates that are solely used for the display of information on pages. To use a template or infobox, read the included information for the template, then copy and paste the template code from double bracket to double bracket (i.e. {{templatename (variables)}} ) into the page you want to use it in. Fill in all required variables and then fill in the optional variables that you'd like displayed. Look here for a current list of templates available for use in your own pages. For those of you not familiar with a Wiki, it is a collaborative documentation system where everyone has the ability to provide their input on pretty much everything. Below are the links to the various hosted documents on the TC Wiki site. Please help by keeping them up to date. This site is only as good as the effort we ALL put into it. If you need help or are new to Wiki's in general, there is a "Help" link in the Navigation bar on the left as well as help on the WIKI system we use (MediaWiki, same system as WoWWiki, Wikipedia, and the rest). If you are a member of Tenebrae Cor, login through your Tenebrae Cor Portal login ID and password. If you are not a full member of Tenebrae Cor it is likely your login will fail. Please note the Wiki is available to EVERYONE to read, but only full TC members have the ability to contribute.
